On May 9th 2018, NSFC Vice President Zhang Xi met with Professor Peter K. Dorhout, Vice President of Kansas State University and President of American Chemical Society.

The two sides conducted extensive discussions over a range of topics including promoting the cooperation and exchange between the Chinese and U.S. chemical community and enhancing the cooperation in animal and plant health research between NSFC and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).

Professor Shi Jishu from Kansas State University was also on the delegation. Zou Liyao, Liu Xiuping from Bureau of International Cooperation and Zheng Qiyu from Department of Chemical Sciences, NSFC also attended the meeting.
